Three serial chest X-rays of a female patient taken at ages 55, 65, and 71 demonstrate the progressive impact of aging on the soft tissues (white asterisks). Over the span of 18 years, there is a visible reduction in subcutaneous fat, breast volume, and skin elasticity. These changes reflect natural atrophy and tissue remodeling associated with aging, particularly in the breast and chest wall.
