The Common Vein

History/Indication: 19 yo F followed by OB after a positive home pregnancy test. She was noted to have an abnormal

rate of increase in beta HCG (1500 from 1000).

 

Findings:

Compared to prior, there is a new cystic structure within the endometrial cavity (pseudogestational sac)

New cystic structure at the left adnexa demonstrating a thick wall measuring 2.0 x 1.1 x 1.5 cm with mild peripheral

vascularity

On cine images, the cyst is separate from the ovary and contiguous with adjacent tubes.

Trace fluid
