In honor of the 96th birthday of Professor Fay Segal who taught me how to listen to the heart and inspired a life long interest-
She is the mother of my dear friend Geoffrey Hirsowitz.
Fay always had a love for the garden and for dogs.
Thank you Fay for many wonderful memories of my youth and wishing you many more happy and healthy years.

Looking in,
To the eyes of the fall
The mellow mature fall
Gives us pause to reflect
On where we have come from
And where we are going.
Spring and summer have passed,
And here in the fall, though full,
We hang on to life by our roots.
Pinks, purples, reds, greens and yellows
bring sweet memories
As they finally turn
to a bleak cold white.
And now?
If not now, when?
