Ureteric Stones Ureterolithiasis
CT in the axial plane through the urinary bladder shows a calcification in the distal ureter near the left uretero-vesical junction. The calcification is surrounded by a rim of soft tissue – the “soft tissue rim sign” which differentiates the calcification from a phlebolith.
